The Murphy Mound Archeological Site (also known as Archaeological Survey of Missouri Number 23-PM-43 ), is a prehistoric Mound archaeological site in Caruthersville, located in southeastern Missouri.
Prehistoric indigenous mound builder peoples, of the Middle Mississippian culture of eastern North America, built and occupied the Murphy Mound from 1350 to 1541 CE.[3]
